Center Valley, PA (April 17, 2023) - The DeSales University men's tennis team earned its first win of the MAC Freedom season blanking Arcadia University, 9-0, on Monday afternoon.

Doubles
The Bulldogs took a 3-0 lead after doubles play winning 8-1, 8-2, and 8-3 in the three matches. Juniors Augie Citrone and Philip Ritchie earned the win in the No. 1 flight, first-year Aiden Kiernan and Will Pollick teamed up in the No. 2 position, and seniors Mark Sherrill and Thomas Blomquist paired in the No. 3 position.

Singles
DSU lost just eight games over the first five positions of singles play and sophomore Zach Marshall was a 7-6, 7-5 winner in the No. 6 spot. Other singles winners were Citrone in the No. 1 spot, Ritchie in the No. 2 position, Kiernan in the third hole, Sherrill in the No. 4 flight, and Pollick in the five spot.

DSU is back in action on Thursday when they travel to King's College for another MAC Freedom match beginning at 3:30 pm.
