Hoboken, NJ (April 2, 2023) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team dropped its first MAC Freedom game of the season falling at Stevens, 20-10, on Sunday afternoon.

The Basics

• Records: DeSales (3-7, 1-1 MAC Freedom); Stevens (9-2, 2-0 MAC Freedom)
• This is DeSales' sixth straight loss to the Ducks falling to 3-7 all-time with Stevens.

How it Happened

• After falling behind 2-0, junior Colin Adams scored two straight goals to draw the Bulldogs even at two.
• Stevens took control from there scoring six straight goals to take an 8-2 lead and out-scored DSU, 7-2 in the second quarter to take a 12-4 lead into the halftime locker room.
• DSU got on the board first in the second-half but the Ducks finished the third quarter with four straight goals and never looked back from there.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Adams led DeSales with three goals and three assists.
• Senior Domenic Maria and first-year Angelo Luzzetti each scored twice, while senior Beau Neff and first-year Mark Winkler Jr. both had two assists.
• First-year Jake Hurd had a goal and an assist, while first-year Taylor Wikert and junior Pat Wixted had a goal each.
• Sophomore Anthony Gash won 9-of-15 face-offs and had five ground balls.
• Junior Quinten Lyons had 18 saves in goal.

For the Foes

• Kevin Crowley and Matthew Pergola each had three goals and an assist in the win.
• Keegan Hughes finished with four goals and an assist.
