Center Valley, PA (September 16, 2023) - The DeSales University women's tennis team earned its first win of the Fall, 7-2, over local rival Muhlenberg College on Saturday afternoon.
Doubles
The Bulldogs swept all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead. SeniorÂ
Morgan Landau teamed with juniorÂ
Alyssa Vandenberge won 8-2 in the No. 1 spot and juniorÂ
Nyah Tomlinson and seniorÂ
Hope Hoppe won 8-0 in the No. 2 flight. First-year
Sydney Aiello and sophomoreÂ
Lilah Maus won 8-2 in the third spot.
Singles
Landau, Hoppe, Vandenberge, and Maus
 also earned wins in singles to post the final score. Landau won 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6) in the No. 1 flight, Hoppe was a 6-3, 5-7, 1-0 (10-8) winner in the third flight, Vandenberge earned a 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (10-6) win in the fourth spot, and Maus was a 6-2, 6-0 winner in the fifth position.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday at Marywood University at 11:00 am.
