Morgan Sterner poured in a career-high 18 points and senior 
Mikaela Reese blocked five shots to break the all-time record leading the #20 DeSales University women's basketball team past Delaware Valley University, 70-48, in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.
The Basics

- This was DeSales' 16th straight win over the Aggies and moved the Bulldogs to 60-15 in the all-time series.
- DSU has now won eight straight on the season and seven straight on the road.
How it Happened
	- DeSales got off to a quick start in this one opening up a 16-5 lead after a three-pointer from senior Amelia Saunders six minutes into the game.
- The Aggies responded with 10 straight points to end the first quarter and scored the first bucket of the second quarter to take a one point lead.
- DSU continued to trail by one (21-20) when Sterner caught fire hitting a three-pointer giving DSU a two point lead.
- She scored seven straight points later in the quarter giving the Bulldogs a 32-22 lead before taking an eight point lead (32-24) into the halftime locker room.
- The Aggies cut the margin in half to start the third quarter but DSU scored seven straight including a 3 from Sterner and four points from Saunders to reclaim a double digit advantage (40-29).
- Lading by seven with just over three minutes left in the quarter, the Bulldogs finished the stanza on an 11-1 run to claim a 51-34 lead.
- The lead never peakded at 24 points in the fourth quarter as DSU cruised home with the road win.
Top Bulldog Performers
	- Sterner was outstanding off the bench hitting 4-for-4 from outside the arc and totaling a game and career-high 18 points, missing just one shot.
- Saunders also came off the bench to score 13 points.
- Reese became the all-time leader in blocked shots with five, surpassing Bridget Walsh, finishing the game with 12 points, seven rebounds, and those five blocks.
- Reese now has 187 career blocks, 13 shy of becoming the first player in team history to block 200 shots.
- Senior Olivia Scotti added 11 points and was just rebound shy of a double-double with nine boards.
- Senior Lindsey Welsh had a game-high five assists in the win.
For the Foes
	- Maisie Neuber and Alexis Wright each had 15 points to lead the Aggies.
Inside the Box Score
	- DeSales shot 41.7 percent from the field, including 54.2 percent in the second-half.
- The Bulldogs also held the Aggies to just 29.8 percent shooting for the game.
