Glenside, PA (January 27, 2024) - Four players were in double digits leading the #20 DeSales University women's basketball team past Arcadia University, 65-44, sweeping the regular season series and running the Bulldogs win streak to 10-straight in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- The Bulldogs opened the game scoring 10 of the first 12 points, six by senior Megan Bealer to take a 10-2 lead six minutes into the game.
- Arcadia rallied scoring five straight and continued to trail by three (14-11) after one quarter of play.
- DSU scored the first seven points of the second quarter to take its first double digit lead of the game and senior Olivia Scotti finished the half scoring five straight points sending the Bulldogs to the locker room leading 31-18.
- The Knights cut the margin down to six points early in the third quarter before DSU caught fire, going on a 17-2 run, led by nine points from Scotti, to take a 48-29 lead late in the third quarter.
- The lead never fell below 20 points in the fourth quarter.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Senior Mikaela Reese recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, adding four steals and four blocks.
- Fellow senior Lindsey Welsh also had a double-double with 13 points and 10 boards, adding three assists, three steals, and two blocked shots.
- Scotti finished with 15 points and eight rebounds and Bealer had 13 points and six rebounds.
- Sophomore Mikaili Donmoyer totaled nine points and junior Morgan Sterner handed out a team-high four assists.
For the Foes
- Mara Weaver led the Knights with 16 points and added four blocks.
- Scarlett Glasser-Nehls totaled 11 points and Delaney Bell was in double digits with 10 points.
