Center Valley, PA (January 31, 2024) - Five players were in double digits and the #22 DeSales University men's basketball team opened up a 30-point halftime lead extending its school-record win streak to 15 straight in an 86-46 win over King's College in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened

• DeSales trailed 6-5 early and led 9-8 at the 15:26 mark before finishing the final 15 minutes of the first-half out-scoring King's, 39-10, taking a 48-18 halftime lead.
• Over those final 15 minutes was an 18-0 run that included two three-pointers from senior Christian Guldin, one from senior Will Bowen, and one from senior Jordan Holmqvist.
• The Bulldogs scored the first 10 points of the second-half to take a 58-18 lead and never looked back the rest of the way.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Bowen led all scorers with 14 points, hitting four 3's.
• Guldin and Holmqvist each had 12 points, also each hitting four 3's.
• Junior Caleb Gibbs posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.
• Sophomore Matt Ciszkowski collected his first career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
• Senior Mason Barnes had eight assists in the win.

For the Foes

• Chris Patton led King's with nine points.

• DSU shot 53.3 percent from the field and held King's to just 28.8 percent from the field.
