Center Valley, PA (October 15, 2024) - The DeSales University volleyball team used a balance attack in staying unbeaten in MAC Freedom play after a 3-1 win over Delaware Valley University on Tuesday evening in Billera Hall.
The Bulldogs (8-11, 4-0 MAC Freedom) are now all alone in the MAC Freedom standings as the only team unbeaten thru four conference games played after Lebanon Valley knocked off previously unbeaten Stevens also on Tuesday night. DSU is now 6-2 in their last eight matches after tonight's win.
DSU cruised in set #1 as the Aggies committed 10 hitting errors to fall 25-18. The Bulldogs hit .225 in the second set totaling 17 kills to take a 2-0 lead, 25-22. Del. Val. forced a fourth set fighting off a set point at 24-23 to win three straight points before DeSales scored the final five points of the fourth set to clinch the win.

Allison Reimer led the attack with a team-high 12 kills, hitting .273 and adding two aces and 10 digs in the win.

DeSales is back in action on Friday when they host Swarthmore College in a non-conference match beginning at 6:00 pm.
