Center Valley, PA (October 16, 2024) - The DeSales University field hockey team came up just short falling to Arcadia University, 2-1, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening.

• Records: DeSales (4-9, 0-2 MAC Freedom), Arcadia (8-6, 2-0 MAC Freedom)
• The loss evens the all-time series at nine wins each and snaps a three-game win streak for the Bulldogs over the Knights.

How it Happened

• Arcadia got goals near the end of the first quarter and start of the second quarter to take a 2-0 lead that stood into the halftime break.
• Senior Maddie Trocki cut the lead in half just 1:57 into the second-half but despite dominating the shots in the second-half, DSU was unable to find the tying goal. 

Top Bulldog Performers

• The goal was Trocki's seventh of the season.
• Sophomore Alyssa Schlossman totaled seven saves in the cage.

For the Foes

• Morganne Dee scored both goals for the Knights.
• Charli Rissmiller and Morgan McEntire each had assists in the win.
• Anna Doblovsky made 12 saves in goal.
