Trocki Scores Twice in 4-1 Win over King's

Center Valley, PA (October 19, 2024) - Senior Maddie Trocki scored twice leading the DeSales University field hockey team past King's College in MAC Freedom action on senior day Saturday afternoon.

  • Records: DeSales (5-9, 1-2 MAC Freedom), King's (4-11, 0-3 MAC Freedom)
  • This was DeSales' seventh straight win over the Monarchs to move to 10-11 all-time vs. King's.
How it Happened
  • Junior Brynn Balliet got the scoring started with an unassisted goal near the end of the first quarter to put DSU up 1-0.
  • After neither team scored in the second quarter, Trocki got her firstof two goals 3:45 into the second-half.
  • Senior Delani Remp made it a 3-0 game re-directing a shot in front of the goalkeeper just six minutes after Trocki's first goal.
  • Trocki finished off the scoring late in the third quarter to make it 4-0 before King's got its lone goal in the fourth.

  • Trocki now has 52 career goals and nine markers on the season.
  • Remp tallied her fourth of the year and Balliet's was her first of the season.
  • Junior Brooke Sodl earned an assist on Remp's goal.
  • Sophomore Alyssa Schlossman made six saves in the win.
