Hoboken, NJ (October 23, 2024) - The DeSales University volleyball team dropped its first match of the MAC Freedom schedule, 3-0, at Stevens on Wednesday evening.

DSU dropped the first set, 25-10, and the second set 25-18, before nearly forcing a fourth set, fighting off several set points before ultimately falling, 29-27.

First-year Brooke Signorella led the Bulldogs with eight kills.  Senior Samantha Worontzoff had four blocks and sophomore Bryanna Purisima led the way with 15 assists.

DSU is back in action this weekend hosting a tri-match on Saturday with Hunter College and Montclair State University.
