Center Valley, PA (October 26, 2024) - The DeSales University women's soccer team was shutout, 3-0, to #6 ranked Misericordia University in MAC Freedom play on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- Cougars scored the first goal of the game just six minutes into the game on a goal off the foot off Brenna Field on a shot that hit the crossbar and went in to give MSU the early 1-0 lead, which stood all the way into the first-half break.
- In the 59th minute the Cougars scored in an insurance goal on a pass from Madison Brdaric that found Haleigh Wintersteen inside the box to give MSU a 2-0 lead.
- Misericordia posted the final tally in the 63rd minute when Caitlin Somerville scored to give the Cougars the 3-0 shutout win.
