Liam MacDonald scored two second-half goals giving the DeSales University men's soccer team a 2-0 win over Lebanon Valley College on Tuesday afternoon to inch closer to earning a spot in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament.

- The Bulldogs inch closer to a spot in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament and now just need a win or a tie on Saturday vs. King's College to earn a spot.
- In addition, DSU can finish as high as #2 and earn a home game in the semifinals of the tournament with a win and a Misericordia tie or loss.

How it Happened
- About two minutes out of the first-half intermission senior Elek McDonald drew a foul in the box that led to a penalty shot attempt by junior Joseph Reteneller. His shot was saved by the keeper bottom left but Liam MacDonald was there for the rebound and connected a one-timer to give the Bulldogs the game's first goal.
- MacDonald scored his second of the game and provided the Bulldogs with an insurance goal in the 83rd minute on a pass from senior Tristen Castellani inside of the box that found MacDonald at the top of box which he connected on shot that beat the keeper top shelf.
- The Bulldogs defense was perfect once again as they got their ninth shutout win of the season.

- MacDonald scored his team-leading 10th and 11th goals of the season.
- Reteneller and Castellani tallied their second assists of the year.
- First-year Jimmy Shensky made six saves in goal and recorded the shutout win.
For the Foes
- Dalton Fitterling had seven saves for the Aggies.

- Flying Dutchmen had a 18-16 advantage in shots and 7-6 edge in shots on goal.
