Center Valley, PA (October 29, 2024) - The DeSales University volleyball team stayed atop the MAC Freedom standings sweeping FDU-Florham, 3-0, in MAC Freedom action on Tuesday evening in Billera Hall.
The Bulldogs are now 5-1 in the MAC Freedom and sit tied for first place with both Stevens and Lebanon Valley College with one game remaining in the conference schedule next week. DSU could finish anywhere between first and third following next week's results across the conference.
DSU rolled on Tuesday night winning the first set 25-12 and pulling away late in sets two and three (25-22 and 25-21) to finish off the sweep.

Allison Reimer led the attack with 11 kills, hitting .292, and added 10 digs. SophomoreÂ
Mackenzie Fox added nine kills and hit .316 and seniorÂ
Samantha Worontzoff had seven kills and four blocks.

Amanda Maroney totaled a team-high 19 digs to lead the defense and sophomoreÂ
Bryanna Purisima totaled 22 assists and had two aces.
The Bulldogs return to action this weekend traveling to the University of Rochester for a tri-match with Morrisville on Saturday.
