Ribeiro Breaks Single-Game Scoring Record in 8-1 Win over Delaware Valley

Doylestown, PA (October 5, 2024) - Senior Emma Ribeiro scored four goals and added three assists breaking the single-game scoring record in an 8-1 win over Delaware Valley University to open play in the MAC Freedom on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
  • Ribeiro dominated this one scoring just 53 seconds into the game for her sixth marker of the year.
  • Just 1:50 later she scored again, this time off an assist from first-year Rebecca Bury.
  • Bury tallied her second goal of the year to make it 3-0, this time off assists from sophomore Catherine Crampton and Ribeiro.
  • Ribeiro earned her hat trick in the 27th minute to make it 4-0, scoring unassisted.
  • It was a 4-1 game into the 70th minute when Ribeiro talied her fourth of the game, again unassisted.
  • The Bulldogs posted the final 8-1 tally when junior Madison O'Connor, senior Tori Harnett, and Crampton all scored within seven minutes of each other with Ribeiro adding assists on the O'Connor and Crampton goals.

  • Ribeiro ties the single-game record for goals with four, marking the sixth time a Bulldog has scored four goals in a game.
  • She added three assists for 11 points, breaking the previous mark of nine points, held by Angelica Bertola.
