Devin Atkinson each recorded double-doubles leading the DeSales University men's basketball team past local rival Muhlenberg College, 78-65, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

- This was DSU's fourth straight win over the Mules as they inch closer to evening the all-time series that the Mules own a slim 27-25 advantage.
- DeSales is 22-8 vs. Muhlenberg since 1995.
How it Happened
- After Muhlenberg scored the first four points of the game, DeSales went on an 18-5 run to take a nine point lead at the 13:02 mark on a three from first-year Luke Keppel.
- It was a five-point game with 6:05 left in the opening half when the Bulldogs scored 10 straight points to lead by 15, before holding a 39-29 advantage at the halftime break.
- DeSales dominated the second-half as the lead never fell below double digits and peaked at 21 points with 4:31 left before both teams emptied its benches.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Gibbs posted his third double-double of the year with 22 points and 13 rebounds.
- Atkinson had his first double-double of the season with 11 points and 13 rebounds.
- Senior Matt Ciszkowski had 12 points.
- Keppel and fellow first-year Robbie Ruisch combined for 15 points off the bench, hitting 5 3's.
For the Foes
- Luke Gordos totaled 14 points to lead the Mules.
- Elias Sherman-Murphy and Giovanni Rubino both had 12 points.
- Arinze Achufusi had 13 points off the bench.
Inside the Box Score
- DeSales dominated the glass out-rebounding the Mules, 42-24.
- Both teams took excellent care of the ball combining for just 11 turnovers.
