Bryan Flor connected on the sixth PK for the DeSales University men's soccer team helping the Bulldogs advance into the MAC Freedom Championship game with a 1-1 draw (6-5 on PK's) over Misericordia University on Tuesday afternoon in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament semifinals.

- The Bulldogs advance to the conference title game for the seventh time and the first time since the 2017 season when they won the MAC Freedom title also on PK's over Eastern University.
- DSU owns a 5-1 record in its first six conference title game appearances winning the conference title in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, and 2017.
- DeSales will face the winner of the other semifinal between Lebanon Valley College and Stevens with the Bulldogs traveling to the Ducks if Stevens wins and hosting the Flying Dutchmen if LVC wins in the other semifinal on Tuesday evening.
- The draw moves the all-time series record with the Cougars to 7-15-6.
How it Happened
- DeSales got on the board first in the 18th minute when junior Kevin Krall blasted home his first goal of the on a ball cleared to the 18 off a free kick feed from first-year Peter Cardinale.
- The Cougars tied the game just over six minutes later when Patrick Sipera scored on a blast from about the 18-yard line off a feed from Max Jamieson.
- That score stood into the half and neither team found the back of the net in the second-half.
- The game moved into overtime where both teams had chances and the Bulldogs took nine shots in the second overtime but were never able to find the golden goal as the game moved to PK's.
- Both teams saw their first five shooters all score easily as the shootout advanced into sudden death.
- On the sixth attempt for the Cougars, first-year Jimmy Shensky guessed right and knocked away the shot attempt.
- Flor stepped to the line and his shot glanced in off the post giving DSU the PK win and advancing the Bulldogs to the championship game.
