Bryn Mawr, PA (February 28, 2024) - Six different players sored two or more goals leading the DeSales University women's lacrosse team past Bryn Mawr College, 17-4, in the 2024 season opener for the Bulldogs on Wednesday afternoon.

• This is the second career meeting between the two teams and the first since the 2017 season as DSU improves to 2-0 all-time.

How it Happened

• Bryn Mawr started quickly in this one taking a 2-1 lead and tied the game at three at the 4:23 mark of the first quarter.
• The Bulldogs dominated from there scoring the final six goals of the first-half to take a 9-3 halftime lead.
• DSU added the first six goals of the second-half, totaling 12 straight goals to take a 15-3 lead at the 11:08 mark of the fourth quarter before BMC stopped the bleeding and the final margin was posted.

• Junior Jess Brey led DSU with three goals and two assists.
• First-year Sophia Campola (3g, 1a) and sophomore Christina DiGuglielmo (2g, 2a) each had four points.
• Sophomore Hailey Linebaugh had three goals, junior Meagan Landers scored twice and had four draw controls, and sophomore Bridey Lawler also scored twice.
• Sophomore Danielle Sieja had a goal and an assist and sophomore Sara Forchelli had one goal.
• Senior Hayley Petrosini finished with six draw controls and had an assist.
• Senior Michaela Regan totaled five saves and allowed just one goal.

• Camille Franklin had three goals to lead Bryn Mawr.
