Aston, PA (March 14, 2024) - The DeSales University men's tennis team opened its 2024 spring schedule with a 6-3 win at Neumann University in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon.
Doubles
DSU took a 2-1 lead after doubles play as seniorÂ
Philip Ritchie and first-yearÂ
Jatin Prabhakar won in the No. 1 flight, 8-3 and seniorÂ
Augie Citrone paired with juniorÂ
Zachary Marshall to win 8-6 in the second spot.
Singles
The Bulldogs finished off the win with four singles wins. Ritchie won 7-5, 6-0 in the No. 1 spot, Citrone earned a 6-2, 6-2 win in the No. 2 flight, Prabhakar was a 7-6 (7-2), 6-1 winner in the third draw, and first-yearÂ
Reece Stein won 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 in his first collegiate match with DeSales.
DSU is back in action on Sunday when they travel to Marywood University for another non-conference match.
