Men's Lacrosse Rolls Past Montclair State, 20-7

Center Valley, PA (March 16, 2024) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team held Montclair State University to just two second-half goals routing the Red Hawks, 20-7, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
  • The Bulldogs set the tone early in this scoring five of the first six goals in the game to take an early 5-1 lead ignited by junior Eric Goliaszewski first goal of the season.
  • MSU pulled to within 8-5 at the start of the second quarter before DSU scored the final four goals of the half to take a 12-5 halftime lead.
  • DeSales dominated the second-half scoring the first eight goals of the half and holding the Red Hawks scoreless till the 2:27 mark of the fourth quarter.

  • Junior Nate Perry led DSU with four goals as 11 different players scored in the game.
  • Sophomore Mark Winkler Jr. added three goals and senior Pat Schuett finished with two goals and two assists.
