Scranton, PA (March 17, 2024) - The DeSales University women's tennis team rolled past Marywood University, 8-1, in the first spring match of the season for the Bulldogs in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon.

Alyssa Vandenberge won a tight 8-4 matchup in the No. 1 flight and seniorÂ
Hope Hoppe paired with sophomoreÂ
Lilah Maus to win 8-1 in the No. 2 slot. The Bulldogs won by forfeit in the third flight.
Singles
Hoppe won 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 2 slot, Vandenberge was a 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 winner in third flight, and Maus won 6-1, 6-2 in the fourth position. SophomoreÂ
Emily Prokopovich also won 6-0, 6-0 in the #5 singles matchup.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday when they host Messiah University beginning at 3:00 pm.
