Radnor, PA (March 20, 2024) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team saw its two-game win streak halted falling at Cabrini University, 21-7, in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

The Basics

• Final Score: Cabrini - 21, DeSales - 7
• Records: DeSales (5-2 overall); Cabrini (5-1 overall)
• DSU falls to 0-2 all-time vs. the Cavaliers.

How it Happened

• Cabrini scored the first five goals of the game but DSU battled back scoring the next four to trail 5-4 2:21 into the second quarter.
• The Cavaliers finished the half scoring five straight and tallied the first two goals of the third quarter to open up a 12-4 lead.
• DeSales scored two straight but CU finished the third quarter with four straight tallies and never looked back in the fourth quarter.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Sophomore Hailey Linebaugh led DSU with three goals.
• Junior Meagan Landers had two goals and three draw controls.
• Sophomore Christina DiGuglielmo had a goal and an assist and sophomore Bridey Lawler had two assists.
• Junior Michaela Regan totaled 18 saves and had five ground balls in between the pipes.

For the Foes

• Olivia Little had four goals and five assists for nine points.
• Morgan McClintock added five goals and two assists for seven points.

Inside the Box Score

• Cabrini out-shot DeSales, 54-17, and had a 29-19 edge in ground balls.
