Leesburg, FL (March 6, 2024) - The DeSales University softball team split its two games on day three of its spring trip to Florida on Wednesday afternoon.
Game One (L/0-4 vs. Mount Union)
Mount Union scored solo runs in the first, third, fifth, and seventh and held the Bulldogs to just three hits to hand DeSales its first loss of the season.

Rachel Lowry pitched well scattering three earned runs over seven innings, striking out five to suffer her first loss of the year.
Game Two (W/14-0 vs. Elms)
The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead in the first inning and then exploded for 11 runs in the second inning and added two more in the third to post the final 14-0 margin.
DSU had 12 hits in which 11 different players recorded hits led by juniorÂ
Bella Arrigo with two hits. SeniorÂ
Victoria Agnoli had three runs scored.

Alanna Hartzell earned her first win in the circle with three scoreless innings allowing just one hit and striking out three.
The Bulldogs wrap up its trip tomorrow taking on Fontbonne University and Gordon College.
