Baseball Concludes Spring Trip with 11-5 Loss at Trinity (TX)

San Antonio, TX (March 7, 2024) - The DeSales University baseball team finished up its trip out West with an 11-5 loss at Trinity University (TX) on Thursday evening.

Trinity scored three times in the third and four times in the fourth to take a 7-0 lead.

DSU got a run back in the seventh on a bases loaded walk but the Tigers scored four more in the bottom of the seventh to take an 11-1 lead before the Bulldogs got four runs in the top of the eighth.

Sophomore John Rorick had two hits and an RBI, sophomore Bobby Dingell also had two hits and knocked in two runs.  First-year Jeremy Stranix scored twice.

DeSales returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to Wilkes University for a non-conference game beginning at 3:00 pm.
