Colorado Springs, CO (March 9, 2024) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team finished up its spring trip out west falling to host Colorado College, 21-8, on Saturday afternoon.

The Basics

• This was the first-ever meeting between these two teams.

How it Happened

• Colorado College scored the first four goals of the game to take an early lead.
• DeSales rallied scoring three of the last four goals in the first quarter to pull within two (5-3) after 15 minutes of play.
• CC dominated the second quarter out-scoring DSU, 8-1, to take a 13-4 halftime lead.
• Colorado put the game away in the third quarter holding the Bulldogs scoreless and scoring six goals of its own to lead 19-4.

• Senior Pat Schuett had two goals.
• First-year Griffin Adams added a goal and two assists and senior Beau Neff totaled two assists.
• Senior Pat Wixted added a goal and an assist.
• Sophomore Dan Haag won 12-of-23 faceoffs.
• Senior TJ Lowe made 14 saves in three quarters of play.

• Thomas Power had four goals and an assist.
• Matt Hudson also had four goals.
