Center Valley, PA (April 10, 2024) - The DeSales University baseball team evened its record at 13-13 winning its fourth straight, 6-4, over William Paterson University on Wednesday evening.

DSU took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on a two-RBI double from senior Colin McCunney.

The Pioneers evened the score at two in the fourth and took a 4-2 lead lead in the fifth.

Senior Zachary Zuchowski tied the game at four in the sixth with a two-RBI single and sophomore Owen Frye gave DSU the lead for good with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Sophomore Andrew McGowan earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief and junior Frank Parrotti got the save recording the final two outs.

McCunney, Frye, and first-year Jeremy Stranix each had two hits in the win.

DSU is back in action on Friday when they host Stevens in game one of the weekend series. First pitch is set for 3:30 pm.
