Center Valley, PA (April 14, 2024) - The DeSales University baseball team dropped the weekend series finale with Stevens on Sunday afternoon falling 9-6 to the Ducks at Weiland Park.
The Bulldogs dip below the .500 mark at 14-15 overall and are 8-7 in the MAC Freedom.
DSU took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a sacrifice fly from first-yearÂ
Ty Akins but the Ducks scored seven runs across three innings to take a 7-3 lead thru four innings.
After Stevens added another run in the top of the sixth, DeSales rallied with three runs in the bottom half of the inning on RBI doubles from seniorÂ
Gavin Zavorski and first-yearÂ
Jeremy Stranix and an RBI single from juniorÂ
Justin DeStaso to make it an 8-6 game.
The Ducks got one more run in the top of the ninth and the Bulldogs were out of rallies.

JT Anderosky had three hits and DeStaso and seniorÂ
Travis Kerr each had two hits in the loss.

Frank Parrotti took the loss on the hill.
DSU returns to action tomorrow traveling to Ursinus College for a non-conference game beginning at 3:30 pm.
