Hoboken, NJ (April 17, 2024) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team saw its five-game win streak snapped at five falling at #12 Stevens, 22-4, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened

• Stevens jumped out to a 7-0 lead with four goals over the final 2:13 of the first quarter.
• The lead was 9-0 early in the second quarter when the Bulldogs scored two straight to cut the margin back down to seven with 8:45 left in the first-half.
• The Ducks finished the half with four straight to take a 13-2 lead into the halftime locker room and cruised in the second-half.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Junior Meagan Landers, sophomore Danielle Sieja, junior Jess Brey, and sophomore Christina DiGuglielmo each scored once.
• Senior Hayley Petrosini had one assist.
• Petrosini, Landers, and Brey each had two draw controls.
• Sophomore Emma Williamson had three caused turnovers and three ground balls.
• Junior Michaela Regan finished with 10 saves in goal.

For the Foes

• Stefanie Sellitto had six goals and two assists and added 14 draw controls.
