Center Valley, PA (April 20, 2024) - The DeSales University baseball team dropped both ends of a MAC Freedom doubleheader with Misericordia University on Saturday afternoon at Weiland Park.
Game One (L/1-15)
The Cougars scored once in the first inning and added six runs in the second inning to take a 7-0 lead and never looked back from there in the opener.

JT Anderosky was a bright spot with three more hits, including an RBI single in the sixth inning. SophomoreÂ
John Rorick had two hits as well.

Mike Hooker took the loss allowing four earned over 1 1/3 innings pitched.
Game Two (L/10-22)
Misericordia jumped ahead once again in this one scoring once in the second inning and opening up an 8-0 lead in the third with seven runs.
DSU got four runs back in the fourth to make it a 10-4 game but the Cougars scored in all but one inning to post the final tally after eight innings.
First-yearÂ
Jack Sague had two hits, two RBIs, and two runs scored off the bench and Rorick had two hits and two RBIs in game two. SeniorÂ
Zachary Zuchowski scored three runs.
JuniorÂ
Frank Parrotti took the loss allowing six earned over 2 2/3 innings pitched.
The Bulldogs will head into the final week of the season needing to win one more game in their three-game series with King's than Lebanon Valley wins in their three-game series with Arcadia University. DSU owns the tiebreaker over the Flying Dutchmen and will just need to finish the regular season tied with LVC in the standings.
