Edwardsville, PA (April 22, 2024) - The DeSales University baseball team fell at Wilkes University, 3-1, in non-conference action on Monday evening.
The Colonels scored once in the second and fourth to take a 2-0 lead. DSU got a run back in the sixth on an RBI single from juniorÂ
Owen Fischl but the Colonels got the run right back in the bottom half of the inning.
DSU threatened in the ninth inning loading the bases with one out but were unable to capitalize.

Zach Rothermel took the loss despite pitching well allowing just two earned over six innings, striking out.

Jeremy Stranix each had two hits in the loss.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Monday when they host Moravian University in a non-conference game beginning at 6:00 pm.
