Dallas, PA (April 20, 2024) - The DeSales University softball team dropped both ends of a MAC Freedom doubleheader Saturday afternoon at Misericordia University.
Game One (L/0-4)
The Cougars scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning and the Bulldogs were unable to recover recording just two hits in the game to drop the opener.

Rachel Lowry took the loss allowing three earned over six innings, striking out three.

Victoria Agnoli each had a hit in the game one loss.
Game Two (L/1-9)
DeSales took a 1-0 lead in this one after an RBI single from Agnoli in the top of the third inning.
It remained a 1-0 game into the bottom of the fourth when MU scored four times to take a 4-1 lead and added on two runs in the fifth and three in the sixth to post the final tally.
JuniorÂ
Alanna Hartzell suffered the loss allowing four earned over 3 2/3 innings.
The Bulldogs return to action tomorrow when they host Wilkes University in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 1:00 pm.
