Center Valley, PA (April 6, 2024) - The DeSales University women's tennis team opened up MAC Freedom play with a 6-3 win over King's College on Saturday afternoon.
Doubles
DSU got off to a 2-1 lead winning at the #1 and #2 doubles spots. SeniorÂ
Morgan Landau and juniorÂ
Alyssa Vandenberge earned a 8-2 win in the No. 1 spot and seniorÂ
Hope Hoppe paired with sophomoreÂ
Lilah Maus to win 8-6.
Singles
Landau earned another win in the #1 spot, winning 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 in singles. Vandenberge earned a victory in the #3 spot, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) and Maus won 6-1, 6-0 in the fourth position. SophomoreÂ
Emily Prokopovich rounded out the winners in the #5 flight, 7-5, 6-1.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to FDU-Florham for another MAC Freedom match beginning at 3:30 pm.
