Center Valley, PA (January 22, 2025) - The DeSales University women's basketball scored just five points in the fourth quarter falling to Stevens, 54-51, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening in Billera Hall.

How it Happened
- After a back-and-forth start to the game, junior Mikaili Donmoyer hit back-to-back 3's to give DSU a 14-7 lead before the Bulldogs led by three after one quarter of play.
- Stevens took a brief one point lead (21-20) at the 7:39 mark of the second quarter before an 11-2 run by the Bulldogs gave DSU an eight point lead.
- The Ducks finished the half with four straight points and DeSales led 31-27 at halftime break.
- The lead was just two points with 4:06 left in the third quarter until first-year Kayla Ishigami scored five straight points to make it 41-34 and DeSales led by eight (46-38) entering the fourth quarter.
- The lead was five after two freebies from Ishigami at the 4:48 mark as both teams struggled to score over the first five minutes of the final quarter.
- Stevens caught fire scoring on three straight possessions to take a 49-48 lead at the 3:27 mark.
- The lead was three for the Ducks with 2:13 left.
- DeSales had a chance to get within one with 1:35 left but missed two free throws.
- Junior Sammi White scored on DSU's next possesion to make it a one-point game with 52 seconds left.
- The Bulldogs got a stop and had possession, down one with 12 seconds left inbounding in front of its bench.
- On the inbounds out of a timeout the ball was knocked out of bounds and awarded to DeSales but the referres went to the video monitor to review the call it was reversed and ruled out on DSU.
- The Bulldogs were forced to foul and the Ducks made both free throws with nine seconds left.
- DSU raced down the court and was fouled on a shot just inside the three-point line.
- Donmoyer made 1-of-2 free throws and fouled again with two seconds left.
- The Ducks made 1-of-2 but a last second attempt was well short as time expired.
