Kutztown, PA (October 11, 2025) - The DeSales University golf team took home fourth place at The Bear hosted by Ursinus College at Berkleigh CC on Friday and Saturday.

The Bulldogs shot 329 on day one and 309 on day two to take home fourth place.

Leading the way once again was first-year Matthew Smith who finished T-14th with a two day total of 155 after an 80 on Friday and a 75 on Saturday. He made three birdies in his round on Friday and cafded two birdies with 11 pars in his round on Saturday.

Senior Jimmy Kelly placed T-16th with a two day total of 156, firing an 81 on Friday and a 75 on Saturday. He had 10 pars in his round on Friday and totaled 10 more pars to go along with three birdies on Saturday.

Rounding out the top four were senior Brandon Fox placing 27th with a two day total of 161 (82-79) and sophomore Peter McGinley placing T-31st with scores of 86 and 80 (166).  Fox had one birdie in each of his two rounds and McGinley had 13 pars in his Saturday round.

The Bulldogs wrap-up the Fall season at the Lebanon Valley College Fall Invitational on October 27th.
