Men's Soccer Surrenders One Goal Lead in 2-1 Loss at Arcadia

Glenside, PA (Otober 11, 2025) - The DeSales University men's soccer team led early in the second-half but was unable to hold falling to Arcadia University, 2-1, in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

  • DSU falls to 11-11-4 all-time vs. the Knights following the loss. 
How it Happened
  • After a scoreless first-half DeSales took a 1-0 lead when senior Liam MacDonald blasted a clear by the Knight defense into the corner of the net.
  • The lead stood into the 67th minute when Arcadia tied the game at one.
  • The game-winner came in the 86th minute as the Knights completed the comeback.
Top Bulldog Performers
  • MacDonald's goal was the eighth of the season for the senior.
  • Sophomore Jimmy Shensky made four saves in between the pipes.
For the Foes
  • Arcadia's goals came from Scott Jordan and Braiden Sottile.
  • Aden Razukiewicz had four saves in goal.
