Center Valley, PA (October 11, 2025) - Sophomore
Ellie Kozich took home first place individually leading the DeSales University women's cross country team to a second place finish at the DeSales Invitational on Saturday morning.
Kozich finished the 6K course in a time of 22:01.7, the second fastest time in team history on the DeSales course, just behind Veronica Wheeler, who posted a sub-22 time in 2016.
DSU's next six finishers were all first-year students, led by
Hannah Miller in ninth place in a time of 25:01.5.
Emily Harrington was 14th in a time of 25:39.3,
Amanda Witters (25:52.7) and
Elizabeth George (25:57.3) placed 17th and 18th right next to each other.
Danielle Boland was across in 21st place (26:07.7) and
Angela Crowley placed 24th in a time of 26:23.6.
The Bulldogs are back in action next weekend at the Border Battle hosted by Rowan University.
