Brynn Balliet each scored in the second quarter leading the DeSales University field hockey team past FDU-Florham, 2-0, in an important MAC Freedom win on Wednesday evening.

- The Bulldogs took control of a scoreless game with just over seven minutes left in the first-half when Margut scored, knocking in a rebound of a saved shot.
- Balliet added the insurance goal just over two minutes later pushing home a pass on the back post.
- DSU's defense did the rest limiting the Devils to just five second-half shots.
