Washington, DC (October 17 2025) - The DeSales University volleyball team dropped a non-conference match, 3-0, at Gallaudet University on Friday evening.
The first set was tight the entire way as the Bulldogs trailed 21-19 after a kill from sophomoreÂ
Allison Reimer. The Bison scored three straight to lead 24-19 and DSU answered with three straight to get within two at 24-22 before Gallaudet closed out the set after a timeout to stop the Bulldogs momentum.
DSU trailed by just one (15-14) in the second set before three straight points from Gallaudet gave the hosts a four point lead and DeSales was unable to get any closer as GU took a 2-0 lead and closed out the match with a 25-9 third set win.
Reimer led the Bulldogs with 11 kills, hitting .222 for the match, and added 14 digs. SophomoreÂ
Kylie Campbell had 15 digs and sophomoreÂ
Ashlyn Dinan totaled 15 assists.
The Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow taking on Marymount and Marywood in a tri-match at Marymount.
