Arlington, VA (October 18, 2025) - The DeSales University volleyball team swept a tri-match on Saturday afternoon taking down Marywood University (3-2) and host Marymount University (3-1).
Match #1 (W/3-2 vs. Marywood - 25-21, 16-25, 21-25, 25-11, 15-10)
DSU took a commanding 9-3 lead in the first set and really never looked back holding off a late Pacer rally to win 25-21. Marywood flipped the script and took a 9-3 lead in the second set and never looked back and carried that momentum into the third set to take a 2-1 lead with a 25-21 win in the third set.
The Bulldogs dominated the fourth set opening up a 9-2 lead and winning easily, 25-11. In the fifth set DeSales scored the first four points of the set and held at least a three-point lead the entire set to close out the match.

Allison Reimer led the attack with 15 kills, hitting .256 and fellow sophomoreÂ
Brooke Signorella had 13 kills, hitting .250. JuniorÂ
Jocelyn Castro had eight kills, hitting .412, and added three blocks.

Kylie Campbell totaled 29 digs and sophomoreÂ
Grace Pfaff had 12 digs to lead the defense. SophomoreÂ
Ashlyn Dinan finished with 27 assists, two aces, and 14 digs.
Match #2 (W/3-1 vs. Marymount - 22-25, 25-16, 25-17, 25-20)
DSU led the first set early (7-6) before the Saints scored seven straight points to take a 13-7 lead and the Bulldogs were unable to recover. The Bulldogs dominated the rest of the match however hitting .444 in the second set to even the match and .275 in the third set to take a 2-1 lead.
Leading 10-8 in the fifth set, the Bulldogs scored eight of the next 10 points to take an 18-10 lead and never looked back from there.
Signorella was outstanding totaling 19 kills and a .621 hitting percentage, the sixth best in a match for a player with 20-29 attack attempts. Reimer totaled 15 kills and added 12 digs for a double-double.

Veda Doxzen led the team with 29 assists. Campbell had 28 digs in this one and Pfaff finished with 17 digs.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday traveling to Lebanon Valley College for an important MAC Freedom match beginning at 7:00 pm.
