Negron Completes Second-Half Comeback in 4-3 Win over Marywood

Scranton, PA (October 4, 2025) - Junior Aliyah Negron scored with just under eight minutes left completing a three-goal second-half comeback leading the DeSales University field hockey team past Marywood University, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon.

  • Marywood dominated the first-half, scoring three goals and out-shooting the Bulldogs 16-2 in the first-half.
  • DSU completely changed the flow of the game in the second-half out-shooting the Pacers, 17-2 in the second-half.
  • The Bulldogs got its first goal 10:42 into the third quarter when sophomore Sierra Margut scored unassisted.
