New Tripoli, PA (October 4, 2025) - The DeSales University golf team fired a 308 on day of the DeSales Fall Classic to take home eighth place with a two-day total of 628.
First-yearÂ
Matthew Smith was DSU's top finisher, tying for sixth with a two-day total of 147, after a 1-under 71 on Saturday. He had five birdies in his round on Saturday, including four on the back nine.

Jimmy Kelly andÂ
Brandon Fox each finished T-28 with two day totals of 160. Kelly had an 80 on Saturday, carding four birdies in his round, and Fox fired a 79 on Saturday with two birdies on the front side.
Rounding out DSU's top four was sophomoreÂ
Peter McGinley, tying for 31st with a 161 over two days. He had a 78 on Saturday, carding one birdie in his round.
DSU returns to action next weekend competing at the Bear at Berkleigh Golf Club on Friday and Saturday.
