Women's Soccer Dominates Delaware Valley, 6-0, in Conference Opener

Center Valley, PA (October 4, 2025) - The DeSales University women's soccer team exploded for six goals dominating Delaware Valley University, 6-0, in the MAC Freedom season opener for both teams on Saturday afternoon.

  • This was DSU's 13th straight win in the all-time series moving the Bulldogs to 17-9-2 vs. the Aggies.
How it Happened
  • DSU the scoring started in the 11th minute when junior Avery Lane scored her first of two on the game.
  • Senior Madison O'Connor made it 2-0 in the 28th minute on an assist from junior Sarah Hope.
  • Senior Makayla Issakhani scored from just outside the box in the 37th minute and it became a 4-0 game in the 40th minute on a goal from first-year Izzy Schmidt.
  • Lane got her second just 5:28 into the second-half and senior Lexi Bleam finished the scoring with a goal in the 63rd minute.

  • Junior Catherine Crampton, first-year Kendall Kardon, Hope, senior Rebecca Bury, and O'Connor each had assists.
  • Lane now has four goals on the year, while O'Connor, Issakhani, and Bleam each score their first of the season.
  • Sophomores Campbell Pacheco and Saige Santz Cruz combined to make one save and record the shutout..
