Ty Mishock's game-tying three at the buzzer fell short as the DeSales University men's basketball team dropped a 65-62 decision with The College of New Jersey in non-conference action on Wednesday evening in Billera Hall.

- DeSales falls to 2-4 all-time with the Lions in the first road wiin for any team in the series.
How it Happened
- Neither team ever led by double digits in a game that featured two lead changes and eight ties.
- DeSales took what proved to be its only lead of the game on a 3 from sophomore Emanuel Domingo 90 seconds into the game.
- With the game tied at seven, TCNJ used an 11-3 run to take an 18-10 as the Bulldogs chipped away at the margiin the rest of the half, pulling within four (33-29) at the halftime break.
- The Bulldogs tied the game at 35 on a three from sophomore Luke Keppel 1:38 into the second-half and the game kept going back-and-forth and remained tied at 56 with 3:54 remaining.
- A bucket from TCNJ gave them a two-point cushion before each team traded free throws with the Lions holding a 60-59 advantage with 2:16 to go.
- DSU forced a shot clock violation but a missed 3 on the offensive end led to a 3 for the Lions on the other end as they took a 63-59 lead with 1:01 left.
- Senior Ryan Glassmacher answered with a three with 40 ticks left but a missed three by the Lions saw a mad scramble for a long rebound land in the hands of TCNJ and the Lions hit two free throws with eight seconds left to make it a 3-point game.
- After a timeout, DSU got a great look at a tying three froms Mishock that fell just short as time expired.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Sophomore Jayden Thomas led all scorers with 26 points, going 13-for-16 from the free throw line.
- Senior Brendan Boyle also had double figures with 10 off the bench.
For the Foes
- Nick Koch led the Lions with 20 points.
- Matthew Solomon had a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Inside the Box Score
- The Bulldogs shot just 34 percent from the field but was outstanding from the charity stripe hitting 20-for-24 (83.3 percent).
- TCNJ started the game hot hitting 5-of-7 from outside the arc before going 3-for-23 the rest of the way.
