Men's Basketball Tripped up at Lancaster Bible

Lancaster, PA (December 3, 2025) - The DeSales University men's basketball team dropped a 94-79 decison at Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday evening in non-conference action.

The Basics
  • Final Score: Lancaster Bible - 94, DeSales - 79
  • Records: DeSales (3-4 Overall); Lancaster Bible (5-1 Overall)
  • This is the first ever loss for the Bulldogs in the all-time series with the Chargers in the eighth career meeting. It was the first meeting since the 2018-19 season.
How it Happened
  • Sophomore Jayden Thomas scored DSU's first seven points of the game to lead 7-6 early and added another bucket two possessions later to give the Bulldogs an 11-8 lead.
  • The game was tied at 17 with just over 12 minutes left in the opening half when LBC scored nine straight points to take a 26-17 lead and extended the run to 14-2 to lead 31-19 with 7:55 to go in the first-half.
  • DeSales pulled within single digits a few times before Lancaster Bible finished the half on a mini 8-3 spurt to take a 47-33 lead into the locker room.
  • LBC scored the first six points of the second-half to push the margin to 20 points before seven straight points from the Bulldogs made it 53-40.
  • DSU was never able to get within single digits in the second-half before the final tally was posted.
Top Bulldog Performers
  • Thomas was outstanding for the Bulldogs recording his first double-double of the year with 25 points and 14 rebounds.
  • Senior Brendan Boyle also reached double figures with 13 points, hitting 3 3's.
For the Foes
  • Connor Storr led all scorers with 26 points on 9-of-13 shooting.
  • Camden Hurst added 21 points in the win.
Inside the Box Score
  • LBC shot 54.0 percent from the floor as compared to just 44.4 percent for DeSales.
  • DSU committed 24 turnovers leading to 20 Charger points.
  • The Bulldogs did control the glass, out-rebounding Lancaster Bible, 34-26.
