Lindsay Bednarek and sophomore
Kayla Ishigami combined for 40 points leading the DeSales University women's basketball team past Lehman College, 72-42, in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
The Basics

How it Happened
- DeSales opened the game scoring seven of the first nine points to take a 7-2 lead on a three-pointer from senior Mikaili Donmoyer.
- Lehman followed with seven straight points to claim a 9-7 lead before six straight points from Bednarek regained the lead and gave DeSales a four-point cushion.
- Trailing by three after one quarter, Lehman scored the first five points of the second quarter to take a 15-13 lead.
- DSU took control from there using a 15-3 run that included five different players scoring to claim a 28-18 lead and extended that margin to 13 points at the half (38-25).
- The Bulldogs used a 12-0 run at the start of the third quarter to build a 50-27 advantage that was highlighted by two 3's from Ishigami late in the run.
- The lead peaked at 32 points midway thru the fourth quarter before the final tally was posted.

- Bednarek led the way with 23 points, adding five assists and five rebounds.
- Ishigami had 17 points off the bench, hitting three 3's.
- Donmoyer also had double digits with 11 points and added four steals.
- Senior Sammi White pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.

- Nelson Asamoah led Lehman with 13 points.
