Caleb Gibbs and
Devin Atkinson combined for 47 points and 21 rebounds leading the DeSales University men's basketball team past Stevens, 75-67, in an important MAC Freedom win on Wednesday evening in Billera Hall.

How it Happened
- DSU trailed 9-7 early before an 11-0 run that included a four-point play from first-year Ty Mishock and a three-point play from Atkinson gave the Bulldogs a 18-9 lead.
- The lead was 10 (27-17) before an 11-2 run pulled the Ducks within one (29-28) and DSU finished the half with five straight points to lead (34-28).
- DeSales led by four with 15:36 left when Stevens used a 10-1 run to take a 47-42 lead at the 13:15 mark of the second half.
- The deficit was four (50-46) before six straight from the Bulldogs gave DSU a two-point lead.
- The game was back-and-forth over the next several minutes and was tied at 60 with 4:15 remaining.
- Atkinson hit a deep three on DSU's next possession igniting a 10-0 run over the next three minutes giving the Bulldogs a 70-60 lead.
- Stevens got within six with 37 seconds left but Gibbs iced the win from the line hitting 5-for-6 from the charity stripe over the final 15 seconds.

- Gibbs recorded his eighth double-double of the year with 24 points and 15 rebounds, adding two blocks.
- Atkinson finished with 23 points, six rebounds, and four assists.
- First-year Jayden Thomas added 12 points and five assists.
For the Foes
- Brendan Coughlan, Mike Goodall, and Kyle Maddison each had 13 points in the loss.
- Jack Spellman finished with seven points, 14 rebounds, and four blocks.
