Meagan Landers scored a game-high four goals and added an assist leading the DeSales University women's lacrosse team past Alvernia University, 14-3, in the 2025 season opener on a frigid Wednesday evening.

How it Happened
- It was a slow offensive start for the Bulldogs as they scored just two goals in the first quarter and three in the second quarter to lead 5-0 at the half as the defense dominated the first 30 minutes of play.
- Alvernia was the aggressor to start the second-half scoring two goals in the first 1:31 to cut the margin down to three goals.
- DeSales dominated the rest of the way, scoring five times in the third quarter to take a 10-2 lead and piled on four more goals in the first nine minutes of the fourth quarter to lead 14-2 and cruised from that point.
