  • The Ospreys would have the final answer in the first on a goal from Alex DeLierre to take a 4-3 lead after one.
  • Stockton would score once more to start the second to take a two goal lead before Hurd took over for DSU and scored two goals in 28 seconds to tie the game back up for the Bulldogs at 5-5.
  • Both teams would then exchange goals as the game remained tied at 6 midway through the period. However, the Ospreys would string together three straight goals and would end up taking a 9-7 lead into the halftime break.
  • A low scoring third period saw both teams trade two goals each as DSU tallied goals from first-year students TJ Kearns and Jason Reilly in a deficit that stood at two at the end of the third period.
  • Stockton would push the lead up to three early in the 4th before Schuett cut it back down to two to make it a 12-10 game with 11:55 left to play.
