Lancaster, PA (February 28, 2025) - The DeSales University baseball team suffered its first loss of the season in a 11-1 decision at Franklin & Marshall College in non-conference action on Friday afternoon.
After falling behind 4-0 in the third inning, DSU scored once in the fourth inning on an RBI single from graduate student
Gavin Zavorski to cut the deficit down to three.Â
The Diplomats tacked on four more runs in the fifth inning to distance itself with an 8-1 lead, and added two runs in the sixth and one more in the seventh to post the final tally.Â

Ashton Johnson took the loss in this one allowing six runs in 4 1/3 innings of work.
DSU's next game is in Texas on spring break with four games slated for the trip before the Bulldogs come back home on March 17th in the MAC Freedom opening series vs. Delaware Valley University with first pitch set for 3:30 pm.Â
