Annville, PA (March 21, 2025) - The DeSales University baseball team saw its six-game winning streak snapped after Lebanon Valley College hit a two-run walkoff home run for 5-4 win in the first game of the weekend three-game series on Friday afternoon.
The Bulldogs fall to 8-5 overall and 3-1 in the MAC Freedom.
DSU fell behind 2-0 in the first inning when LVC hit its first two-run homer of the game.
First-yearÂ
Jacob Rivera had an RBI double in the fourth to get the Bulldogs on the scoreboard. DSU made it a 3-2 game in the fifth on a Flying Dutchmen error and took a 4-3 lead in the sixth on an RBI single from seniorÂ
Justin DeStaso and a double steal later in the inning.
That lead stood into the bottom of the ninth inning when LVC drew a two-out walk and hit a two-run home run to right center field to take home the win.

Mike Hooker pitched five strong innings allowing three earned runs.
The Bulldogs will host games two and three tomorrow beginning at Noon at Weiland Park.
