Women's Lacrosse Wins Ninth Straight; Sets New Points Record

Center Valley, PA (March 26, 2025) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team broke the single-game points record for the second time this season in a 24-1 win over Centenary University on Wednesday evening.

  • This was the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
  • DeSales extends its school record winning streak to nine games and it also marks the first they have started a season with nine straight wins.
  • DeSales broke the single-game record for points for the second time this season totaling 41 points vs. Gwynedd-Mercy and 42 points in the win over Centenary tonight.

  • DeSales wasted no time in this one scoring 10 times in the first quarter and lead 13-0 at the half cruising to its ninth straight win.

  • Nine different players scored goals in this one including junior Christina DiGuglielmo with six goals and three assists for nine points.
  • Junior Bridey Lawler had five goals and one assist, senior Jess Brey had two goals and four assists, and junior Hailey Linebaugh finished with three goals and three assists.
  • Senior Meagan Landers scored four times and had six draw controls.
  • Junior Danielle Sieja finished with a goal and two assists and sophomore Sophia Campola totaled three assists.
